SROTA (passages of circulation)

The term SROTA derives from “SRU” (what flows). The Srota are the circulation passages of the body and they form a net of communication,  transport and elimination to all body parts. Some of them are visible such as windpipe, digestive canal and big vessels, while others have microscopic dimensions or still smaller.

FROM FUNCTIONAL POINT OF VIEW THE SROTA ARE DIVIDED IN FOUR GROUPS:
-          canals appointed to the metabolism and absorption of nutritive substances
-          canals responsible of tissue nutriment
-          elimination canal
-          mental canals which connect mind and body
-          conserving the psychosomatic integrity of individual

The good working of all canals is essential to keep a well-being state.

EVERY SROTA’S GROUP CAN BE VITIATED BY PARTICULAR INFLUENCES:
-          excess of food
-          eat before having digested the previous meal, eating not healthy or incompatible food
-          sleep after meals
-          excessive effort or insufficient movement
-          suppression of natural needs. Excessive hot or cold
-          excessive worries
